I have computers that have ubuntu 12.04 as the host then when i boot it up, i have a start up script to auto boot a windows 7 virtual through workstation
The startup script:
Command:
/usr/bin/vmrun start /home/administrator/vmware/"Windows7x64SP1"/Windows7x64SP1.vmx
I know that with a windows 7 host and a ubuntu guest you can create a shortcut and throw -X tag in to do the full screen after powering up. But have had no luck with it with a ubuntu host.
I have checked the "Enter full screen mode after powering on" check box in power settings but yet it still doens't want to full screen.
Thanks for any input.
Another option would be disabling access to the host unless you have the host password or a password you set up? Just throwing it out there.
Hi Leedymfg
Welcome to communites .
Please check screen resolution settings.
It should be default resolution of monitor or higher that that.
I have tryed that before but it still leaves the ubuntu top bar.
