Guest freezes for 2 minutes in Workstation 17.

My Windows XP guest freezes for 2 minutes in Workstation 17. When it unfreezes it fast forwards for 10 seconds.

 

First of all, when I diagnose the problem with the Event Viewer, the closest message I could find says...

 

"Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued."

Is this a dual CPU system? I have seen post going back several years on XP running virtually that if the VM was changed to single CPU, it seems to run fine. It seems to be an issue between the SCSI driver and dual CPU configuration. If it is 2 CPU's, change it to one and see if it resolves the issue.

Seems to do this even with 1 CPU configured...
