Instead of HGFS shared folders which are a security risk if the VM is used for browsing, I would like to hotplug virtual or physical drives while the VM is running.
At the moment the only option I know is to plug and unplug a USB external hard drive but this takes too long. But what about virtual SCSI drives, can they be hotplugged?
Also heard of RDM drives which can be hotplugged, are they available in VMware Workstation?
