Import a .tib archive error

Whet attempting to import in Win 7 into VMWare 7 any .tib archives created in Acronis 10 in Win 7 from bootable USB and HD drive partitions, the integrated with VMWare Conversion Wizard gives errors in its log: "Task failed: P2VError IMPORT_SOURCE_NOT_RECOGNIZED". Archives are not encrypted, and their size is less than available space of a VM machine drive. What can cause this issue, and how to solve?

Generally, what happens with imported into VMWare archives: are they converted into VM virtual drives, and the VM can boot from that drive if the archive is bootable. Where these drives are stored after convertion? Are they accessible next time?

Hi

I lock this post - as we have the same discussion already going on in your parallel post with almost the same name.

Please stop this - one post per topic is enough
