Intel VT (Hardware supported virtualization)

How does one know if VMWare is in the mode that uses Intel VT? Microsoft Virtual PC has a dialog that indicates it is using it. Is there a similar dialog in VMware where one can disable/enable use of hardware supported virtualization?

Thanks,

Nick

I needed a BIOS update for my HP laptop too - and (according to Ulli) it still has a bug when resuming.

Yep, but at least VT can be enabled on your laptop.

Well, I'm a doofus. I did check with HP support for my info, but I must have gotten the wrong tech. Our support guys dug this up:

XW6400 VT Support: F10 Setup>Security>OS Security

Intel Virtualization Technology --> Enable

save & exit

Should have rtfm: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00729245/c00729245.pdf
