Is there a way to create a shared virtual disk between VMs in Workstation 8

Hi,

I wonder if someone can guide me in creating a shared virtual disk between two VMs using VMWare Workstation 8 for linux. Is it possible? and How? If not, are there any alternatives?

Welcome to the Community,

I'm not aware of a way to simultaneously access a virtual disk from multiple VMs. What you could do is to add the virtual disk to one of the VMs and access it through e.g. CIFS shares. Alternatively you could create a third VM which presents this disk as shared storage.
