No network adapters with Windows 8 Host

Hi

Have upgraded my Windows 7 64bit host to Windows 8 Consumper Preview. Workstation 8 was already installed before the upgrade. I can now run VMs fine but they don't have a network connection. In the virtual network editor I'm unable to add network adapters. In the network overview in Windows 8 I can only see a vmnet0 adapter.

Any tips?

Gabrie

Don't know what you Windows 8 host is using for network connectivty..   I usually would experiment with changing the VM's  network from NAT  to bridged or  vice versa.  Hopefully that might work for before going to the Virdtual Network editor.

I'm having the same issue. Was working fine on Windows 7, upgraded to W8 CP and now no network adapters work.

net start vmnetbridge = System Error 2 has occurred. The system cannot find the file specified

Hi,

Create a new VM for Windows 8. then you check the network adapter. surely it will take.
