Ubuntu 12.10 Vmware Workstation 8.0.3

I have clean installed ubuntu 12.10 from 12.04. I have had vmware workstation 8.0.3 installed successfully without any issues(after patching). Well i've now installed Vmware Workstation 8.0.3 on my ubuntu 12.10 and patched successfully(i presume) but when i open workstation up it still does the "Before you can run VMware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel." screen. So i click "Install" and its start doing its compileing as so:

Stopping VMware Services -- Completed Successfully

Virtual Machine Monitor -- Completed Successfully

Virtual Network Device -- Completed Successfully

VMware Blocking Filesystem -- Completed Unsuccessfully

Virtual Machine Communication Interface -- Completed Successfully

VMCI Sockets -- Completed Successfully

Starting VMware Services Starts

and it starts fine. then asks about upgrading to VMWare Workstation 9 so i click skip this upgrade.

Lets me boot my virtual just fine and no other flaws. But compileing everytime is geting really anoying and i was wondering if i had done somthing wrong in the process? or if this is a new bug with the new version of ubuntu.

Any input is welcome.

PS: the patch i used is: "patch-modules_3.2.0.sh"

***EDIT: Nevermind found how to change hotkeys(ran as root).

Thanks,

Lance DeWitt.
