From the virtual team, I have these variables listed for the virtual network segment.
I'm just curious if there's anything I can do with a virtualized router/firewall like Untangle or linux routing that I could add a time-based delay to forward data to simulate distance. I know it's a long shot because in the IT world we strive to increase the latency... Just curious if anyone has figured decreasing it for simulation purposes.
I'm working on an exam that deals with Branch Cache for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2, I just wanted to simulate branch cache but it requires a round-trip latency of 80ms for it to activate.
