VM with 100% CPU

I just install a new VM with windows 11 pro. The CPU runs 100% without doing nothing.

I removed all the app from the start settings.

The VM is configure with 2 processors, is this small?

The CPU % is not stable, goes up and down. What do I need to do? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Johnny

Most of what I have seen has been around Windows 11 in Workstation 17 Player, but that recommendation is 1 physical process with at least 4 cores.

What is your underlying CPU on the hosts? Two cores are the minimum on the specifications table. Have you tried going higher to see if iti stabilizes?

Much better with 4 cores.

Chrome was taking all the CPU again. I remember to disable hardware acceleration, the vm is good now.

Thanks for your help.
