VMware WKS 16 install Windows NT 4.0 raw partition

Hi,

Host: Arch Linux

Guest: NT 4.0

I have put an additional old 250Gb hard drive in my PC that I want to use for Win NT 4.0. (Created a 2 Gb Partition for NT)

I selected the drive and the partition in vmware, but NT seems to be doing a BIOS call and seeing the 250Gb drive rather than the 2 GB partition that I wanted it installed to.

I thought that VMware WKS returned the partition geometry as the disk size?

I can mount the partition in the host, so I have rights to the disk.

The problem is the same, even if I sodo vmware.
My user account is in the groups file with access to "Disk" and "storage".

Do I need to specify something in the /etc/fstab file?

What am I doing wrong? Suggestions?

Regards,

Craig
