VMware Workstation Pro 17 - Nested virtualization

I am having an issue with nested virtualization. I enable the setting in the VM and when I try to turn on the machine, it doesn't work. The message I receive is: "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform". I already did many troubleshooting steps. I checked the BIOS in my host computer and I could see that the option for virtualization is enabled. Also, I checked processor specifications. I reviewed VM documentation. I know that nested virtualization is supported as I could see it in the documentation and also many of my classmates were able to do it. I looked in the forum community for answers, I couldn't find one for my issue. I made sure the VMware Workstation is up to date. I'm using Workstation Pro17. At this point, I don't know what else to check or do. I really need this to work as it's part of my assignments in the college. I would really appreciate it if you can help me with this matter as soon as possible.

If VMware By Broadcom Workstation is installed on Microsoft Windows with Hyperv, see https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2146361 .

What kind of machine and OS have you loaded Workstation Pro17 on?  And what type of VM OS? There are known issues with Hyper-V and some Linux OS.  Or if it's a Win 11 machine, you have to disable Hyper-V and Core Isolation/Memory integrity settings on Windows 11 host to enable virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT, a feature that is required for some Linux guests.

Here is a blog along those lines (for a Win11 host):

And one dealing with a linux guest: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66927433/vmware-error-vt-x-is-not-supported-on-this-device-platf...
