Word problems after upgrading to VMware 6

I have a vmware that was working fine in VMware 5, recently I upgraded it to VMWare 6 and now when I open word it comes up with an error and goes into safe mode. I uninstalled word and re-installed it but the problem is still there. Do you know what is causing this issue?

What is your guest OS?

What version of Word?

What is the exact error message reported in Word?

I have used Microsoft Word in a VM created with WS 4.x, WS 5.x, WS 6 and other VMware products without any issues.

This is most likely a MS word issue and not related to running in a VM
