We currently have developers which have Player Pro 6.x versions installed. I am looking into upgrading to either Player Pro 7 or workstation 11. I am wanting to know if there are actual performance gains in running VMs in workstation vs player pro. What are the enhancements gained by paying $90 more and getting workstation. We do not have an environment in which we can share VMs or utilize the cloud either by the way. So they will be running VMs locally only. I want the best tool for that job.
I do like the snapshot ability in workstation, but is they anything else?
