On RC1 there is this problem (i copy&past and hold my post):

Hi, I have the same problem and i can reproduce it.
Win 2000 Guest on Win Xp Pro Host.
1 - Guest Full Screen
2 - I move mouse at top of screen to select VM Ware floating bar
3 - I use CTRL - Z to activate VM Suspend mode (or i can select it from menu)
4 - During Suspend process i click on iconify icon to show Win Xp Desktop
After some seconds Win Xp freezes. Initially it stop to respond to keyboard but i can move mouse on screen and some other seconds i totally freezes (after a BEEP)
Three test and on all tests i have obtained a freezed Host.
I suspect that Host Os freezes exactly when VmWare6 RC1 has completed suspend operation.
But if i skip point 4 (click iconify icon) and i stay in full screen mode until suspend operation will be completed then Host Os doesn't freeze.

but from RC2 it seemed fixed , i have tried some tests without reproduce it (on RC1 it was always reproducible).
Today with WS 6.0 Final i have obtained a freezed host when i have done:
\- Go to VM Guest (it was full screen), select floating bar and start suspend process (CTRL-Z).
\- During Suspend process, iconify Guest clicking on floating bar iconify icon
\- Use Host Browser (Firefox 2.0) while WS was performing Suspend of Guest.
\- Some seconds after, FireFox hangs, Mouse is freezed and i heard a BEEP.
\- Only with a forced power off, i have unfreezed my notebook
