workstation 5.5 and Intel core 2 duo

I am thinking of purchasing a notebook this week. Toshiba A200-TR6. It has 1.73GHz Intel core 2 duo processors. Does workstation 5.5 support this platform. If so, has anybody experienced any performance issues?

Worked for me without any problems.

Make sure to use a C2D CPU which supports VT otherwise you won't be able to run 64-bit guests.
