A problem running ubuntu x64 on a Core duo host

Hello everybody ,

This is my first time using VMware , I have Vmware player 6,  and I Installed run ubuntu 13.01 x64 on it .

my Device has Intel core duo processor , and my OS is windows 7 x64 .

When I try to run the ubuntu image an error occurs , it says "Preferred mode unavailable. Using binary translation instead. This host does not support Intel VT-x."

I changed the (preferred mode) to Inter VT-x in Virtual machine settings and tried again the same error occur again but when i press okay , the ubunu start page shows us and when I try to choose (Ubuntu)

another error occur  "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. Power off or reset the virtual machine."

What should I do to run an ubuntu on my virtual box?

thanks for help
