Check VIBs compatiblity. Maybe some ESXi hosts needs manually to delete some vibs to be able to proceed with the update.

Does the lifecycle manager say that the host has incompatible VIBs?

What is your Server vendor? Check documentation regarding customized ESXi iso.

There should be the info regarding vibs.

No, there are no VIB errors.

The error is : system_error Messages: vapi.invalid.result.code<Recv of frame failed with code: 503 Service Unavailable>

Hi

I have solved this issue in a workaround, i have created a host profile for the compliant esxi host with its settings ( No network, No storage) and then remediated the non compliant hosts against the host profile:

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.hostprofiles.doc/GUID-3B6CF382-0870...

after that i am able to remediate the hosts against the single cluster image.

it worked successfully.

And finally enabled HA on the cluster

regards.
