lost iscsi datastore and now vcsa says vm that was stored there is orphaned and I am unable to delete it from the vcsa inventory by the recommeded methods in KB because it doesn't show up on the esxi host (vsphere client used to check esxi host inventory)
go to vCenter Server, right click on orphaned VM, expand All Virtual Infrastructure Action, Expand more uncategorized action, click remove from inventory
go to vCenter Server, right click on orphaned VM, expand All Virtual Infrastructure Action, Expand more uncategorized action, click remove from inventory
