log4j.appender.LOGFILE missing

The log4j.appender.LOGFILE.MaxFileSize=50MB and log4j.appender.LOGFILE.MaxBackupIndex=5 entry's are missing from my log4j.properties file

I have a problem that my /storage/log is full (15GB) and trying to follow this article:

In step 8 I have to edit log4j.appender.LOGFILE.MaxFileSize=50MB and log4j.appender.LOGFILE.MaxBackupIndex=5

But they are missing from my file.

Could you please confirm if your vCenter versions is 6.0 or 6.5

In the mean time you can delete the logs file which are consuming maximum.

Under /var/log/vmware

Run the command du -h

It would give you the name of the folders which are consuming more space.

I have the same problem. Version 6.0. How do I proceed?
