vCentre install error 29700 trying to install vSphere web client
Having a bit of a night mare trying to do a simple install of vCentre server, or even install component by component. Running workstation 11, Server 2008 VM with 4gb RAM, 2 single core CPU, 1gbe, bridged NIC, I have installed .net 3.51
and yet whenever i try and install the vSphere web client component i get an error 29700 which seems t be an issue trying to delete a folder that is no longer there. SSO installs ok and I can run the installer for the inventory service and vcentre itself..
The host is a self build with an intel i5, 8gb RAM and plenty of HDD space.
Also the vm is part of a windows domain and I have checked DNS and rDNS works ok.

Has anyone else come across any similar issues?
