Dynamic firewall creation?

What mechanism exists for this when using VCD, if any? Ideally, creation of VLAN's first then creation of corresponding FW rule set without user intervention...thanks.

Need more detail over what you're trying to achieve.  Is this for Production or Dev/Test solution?  I'm working on a solution for Dev/Test where I have pre-baked my VMs and networking config into a vApp.  Then when add the vApp to My Cloud, the VMs don't get customised and VSE auto NATs.

This would be for both Prod and Dev.  We are trying to determine wether we can programmatically create firewalls and networks on demand.

You could look at using Blocking Tasks in VCD (under Administration) in conjunction with VCO to automate your network and firewall tasks.  Although you'll need to check whether VCO has plug-ins for your network and firewall vendors.
