Assign uploaded catalog to designated datastore

Hi is there any way we can assign which datastore to use for catalogs? or how does VCD selected which data store to use for catalogs if there are multiple data store in the compute resource

Hi,

Datastores are selected under Provider vDCs and there's no way to pin individual datastore to a catalog. The algorithm which vCloud Director chooses for placement of vApps/VMs when there's multiple datastore associated with Provider vDC is quite simple: datastore with most free space is used.
