VCD Shared Named disks on NFS storage

Dear Community,

I've been trying to create and assign to an organization a shared named disk. Unfortunately, unsuccessfully. I'm using a NFS datastore, and 2 different installation of VCD 10.2 and 10.3.

I didn't receive any error message related to type of storage, at the same time, I also didn't find any hint in the official documentation.

Has anyone found a similar problem?

Thank you

Cheers

Raff

I'm digging into the same and was able to find:

Shared Named disks cannot be created on NFS as we discussed, The datastore that is linked needs to have at least one non-NFS datastore:
Any disk to be shared must be:
  1. Thick provisioned, eager zeroed (meaning that they cannot reside on an NFS datastore)
  2. Disk mode: “Persistent”

I'm looking for the official documentation and will share that once I find it.
