Add a host in VMSphere with diferent version

Hi everyone! 😄

Sorry for posting this here but I didn't find the right location. I hope you can help me.

I have an issue when I try to add a ESXi host in the VCenter (vshpere) and same thing with the licence.

The ESXi is a 7 version, the licence is for a 7 version and the VCenter have the 6.5 version. Can somebody confirm me if the issue is for that diference?

Thanks 😄

The vCenter Server version needs to be at least the same, or later as the ESXi hosts. vCenter Server 7.0 supports ESXi hosts with version 6.5, 6.7, and 7.0.

Each component (vCenter, and the hosts) need an appropriate license for their specific major version, i.e. 6.x, or 7.x.
