I understand that in vsphere, when a storage call occurs and the APD Timer limit has passed, it is considered a PDL condition. In other words, we believe that vSphere has given up on recovery. However, when the storage is restored again from that state, it attempts to recover the storage and returns to normal state. What is the mechanism behind this?
