Collecting CPU usage of selected VMs for the past 7 days

Hi Everyone,

Need help / guidance on the below:

1. is there a way in vcenter to collect past 7 days CPU usage for multiple VMs? or a way to list VMs which have been using / demanding the most CPU on a Cluster for the past 3 / 5 / 7 days?

2. is there any historical usage retained on the ESXi hosts, where I can check for specific VMs cpu usage for past 3 / 5 / 7 days?

Historical statistics are a feature of vSphere vCenter.  On Cluster level you can see something like the top 10 or so. But you cant select multiple or the VMs you want to compare. There is vRealize Operations or maybe VeeamOne which can generate reports.

A ESXi Hosts only have the runtime statistics.
