Distributed switch and uplink port group

Hi everyone.

Let say we have two ESXI:

ESXI1 , vmnic0, vmin1

ESXI2, vmnic 2, vmnic 3

Let say we have a Distributed Sw  DSW1 with up link port group  DSW-UPLINK

Can we place ESXI's vmnic0, vmnic1, ESXI2's vmnic2, vmnic 3 in DSW-UPLINK group  even though they are not the same i.e ESXI1 has vmnic0, vmnic1, while ESXI2 has vmnic2, vmnic3?

yes, you can.

Assuming that you physical network is setup accordingly, you are OK to do what you are asking for.
