I have a Dell R860 with 24 nvme slots. I have 2 1TB nvme ssd drives (Cache) and 12 7.68 nvme ssd drives (Capacity). When I configured the vSAN I was able to create two disk groups. Group 1 contained one 1TB cache drive and 5 nvme ssd capacity drives. Group 2 contained one 1TB cache drive and 4 capacity drives. Three of the drives are not detected in VSAN or ESXi.
The iDRAC shows all drives. I've reached out to Dell support and they say it's an VMware issue.
Any ideas?
