ESXi host on UCS with connections to multiple Storages

Hi

ESXi hosts are configured with Cisco UCS. As of now the hosts have FC connections (zoned through MDS switches) to EMC storage. We need connections to another storage to keep large DBs. In performance point of view is it recommended to do the zoning for same ESXi hosts with second storage?

We did the zoning and it works fine with both the storage. Later we will look for more deeper articles on settings related to vmWare.
