Package Virtual Image of Host with Virtual Machines

Currently I am trying to take a backup of the host along with VM’s on the ESXI 7 Client. Where the backup would be used as a virtual copy to install the same environment on multiple systems when needed, by not going through the hardware components of individual VM’s each time.

We have 2 different host, and I want to export just 1 host along with 50+ virtual machines.

I am trying to find a solution or process, to take a image of the host along with the multiple virtual machines into a OVF package.

What would be the easy ultimate way (possible script) to extract all the virtual boxes using the OVF tool. So I can zip all of the OVF files in to a single package. Rather running the below script for each box.

Script used to package single host:

ovftool.exe –noSSLVerify vi://ip_of_esxi_host where the machine resides/name of source_machine “D:\ovf_export_name.ovf

Any suggestions or guidance of how it can be achieved would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Unable to use VEEAM or other backup solution due to delays in getting licenses, hence unable to use them in the work environment.
