SR-IOV on VIC 1340

Anyone experience with UCS B200 (VIC1340 card) blades and SR-IOV?

UCS documentation is scares, even support can't find how to configure it. Old docs mention SR-IOV is supported, when checking the VMware HCL the VIC1340 nenic driver has support for "IPv6,NetDump,RSS,VXLAN-Offload".When configuring SR-IOV on the blade, I do get an SR-IOV capable adapter in ESXi. I'm then able to  enable SR-IOV and need to reboot. But since we're using stateless auto deployed blades, the settings are lost and the special settings I should configure in the host profile (as mentioned in https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.networking.doc/GUID-C5043E19-F84D-4... ) can't be found.

Output of "esxcli system module parameters list -m nenic" is:
Name        Type   Value  Description
----------  -----  -----  -----------
debug_mask  ulong         Enabled debug mask (default: DRIVER | UPLINK | QUEUE | HW)
tx_budget   ulong         If tx_budget is set to 0  call to nenic tx poll completes all available tx completions. If tx_budget is set to !0 call to nenic tx poll completes max(esxi tx budget, tx_budget)

Any tips?

The settings in the document are vendor/driver specific typically. I don't see support for SR-IOV listed anywhere for your card. Maybe it was supported in the past, looks like it isn't today. Probably best to ask Cisco if it is supported, and if so what the configuration switch is to enable it.

In this Cisco doc, updated 2019, it says SR-IOV is supported:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/ucs-virtual-interface-card-1340...

Cisco HCL doesn't mention support for any of the special features and only shows drivers I should use. The driver downloads refer to the VMware website ( https://customerconnect.vmware.com/en/downloads/details?downloadGroup=DT-ESXI67-CISCO-NENIC-10350&pr... ) but again no mention of the supported features.

Checking VMware HCL for Cisco adapters filtering on SR-IOV support, it doesn't show the VIC 1340.

Will make a support call with Cisco to see what is going on.
