Setup Client CD/DVD

Hello,

I'm trying to configure a Windows VM to connect with a DVD on a local machine.

I have configured the CD/DVD settings in vSphere Client:
CD/DVD Drive 1 Client Device
Device Mode Passthrough CD-ROM

When I look at Summary --> VM Hardware, There is no option to select the Local, client device.

How do I make this work?

A moderator should move your thread to the area for vSphere, now that I have reported it.

Thanks, I couldn't seem to find a vSphere board in the dropdown list.

in the settings you should be able to select "Client Device".

Once selected open up a VMRC connection and use the menu in the top left to follow the path below:

Once you select this you are presented with an Explorer where you can select the ISO mounted as a DVD drive locally.

Hope this helps
