VMs going offline "randomly"

Hey all,

I have a bunch of vSphere 7U3 hosts, and seeing a weird issue with VMs just seem to stop working, as in the VMbecome unreachable over the network, I can log into them via the console, and they are responsive from there, no load issues, nothing seemingly wrong, if run `sudo reboot` the issue persists, but of turn them off, and back on.. OR migrate them, networking comes back normally.

I'm quite new to vmware, so I'm not 100% sure how to even start investigate this, as it doesn't seem to be issues on the CentOS level.

Hi,

have you checked the compatibility of the stack ? Which Hardware do you use. Which ESXi Build do you use ?

Can you check /var/log/vmkernel.log in ESXi

We're using HPE DL360 Gen10 with Broadcom BMC57414 network cards.

We're currently running 7.03 21053776, and are expecting the latest version to clear AV scans by tomorrow so we jump straight to the latest version.

I've checking vmkernel.log, nothing specifically related to networking, or dropped packets.. nothing stands out as error, except for

failed to create uid for path vmhba0:C1:T124:L0 failure

Does this mean checking the HCL?
