Vmotion of a CBT-enabled vm having multi-writer disk(s) is not supported (RHEL)vm

Hello every one

We have vMotion issue on RHEL RDM attached vms on Vsphere 7.0U3 environment.

vms have RDM multi-writer disk attached and clustered vm’s gave below error, but windows vms with RDM multi-writer disk attached and clustered vm’s which vMotion complete successfully.

Below error we received while try reconfigure and vmotion

  1. we try to migrate RHEL vms gave below error

“The operation is not supported on the object, vMotion of a cbt-enabled vm having multi-writer disk(s) is not supported”

  1. we try to reconfigure the vm which is failed

“ The operation is not supported on the object CBT-enabled vm having multi-writer disk(s) is not supported”

VM do not have any snapshot, backup not in progress.

In the cluster all the ESXI host mapped with RDM.

Anyone tested RHEL cluster vms with rdm’s to migrate between esxi.

thank you, this vms are production vms which already running without issue in vsphere 6.7. now we upgrade the vcsa 6.7 to vcsa 7.0u3. post upgrade we are unable to migrate the vms. now we need to migrate the vms to other esxi host to upgrade the esxi 7.0u3. vms are critical vms so we will not get downtime. we need vm downtime to disable CBT, here down time is the issue and migration was working in VCSA 6.7u3 without any issue. is there any change in vsphere 7.0u3?
