Hi all,
in a dell poweredge server, I have 7 disks in RAID5, so there is only one vDisk.
a VMFS datastore is created based on this vDisk (Dell)
I want to increase the size of my datastore
but I have constraints, which ones? I do not want to integrate the new disks into RAID5 in place since I will lose considerable storage due to the difference in disk capacities
so i want to create a second vdisk based on the new disks, so i will have 2 RAID 5 vDisks
and in the end I will have two RAID5 vDisks on my server
Now,my question can i extend my VMFS datastore by adding second vDisk space to it?
