I have this error:
I contacted with Veeam and they told me that i have to install "mlocate" in the VMware Server"
How can i do to install it?
Because with yum it is impossible.
Thanks so much.
I contacted with Veeam Support, and i download the mlocate service from this page:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/search/SLE_11_SP3/x86_64/
I installed it with the wget command.
Thanks so much.
You're trying to do guest indexing on the vCSA. Just turn that ability off as you don't need it. There shouldn't be application-aware image processing or indexing on vCSA, so put in an exclusion in Veeam.
If I well understood, i don’t need to choose these checks, not?
The checks "Enable application-aware processing" and "Enable guest file system indexing" must be disable, is that?
Thanks so much daphnissov
Yes, correct, those are not needed when processing the vCSA so disable them.

Be aware that installing anything on VCSA - is an unsupported configuration from VMware Support perspective.
Potentially you can get issues with updating appliance or anything else.
I did the steps that daphnissovgive me, but, i wanted to share the Veeam support solution.
