vmware-mount usage with iscsi SAN storage

Hi all,

I am trying to mount and obtain files within vmdk files located in iscsi SAN datastore, using vmware-mount (Windows) but no luck.

I am able to mount vmdk files on ESX local disk but I don't know how to specify "inventorypath" or "host" for external SAN datastore.

Would anyone kindly advice how to specify those external shared storage? or parhaps not possible???

I managed it to work both through ESX and VC...

Used the MOB to understand Inventory path...although still not clear...
