We have started to introduce our first Windows 2008 Guests in ESX 3.5U1 and seeing the following warning periodically in the system event logs. Has anyone else experienced this and found resolution?
Event ID 26 - Warning - LSI_SCSI
The driver has detected that device \Device\RaidPort0 has old or out-of-date firmware. Reduced performance may result.
Windows 2008 is only experimentally supported under 3.5 U1. Full support begins with U2. I know this does not help your issue directly, but if you have support with VMW you may need to get up to U2 before you file an SR.
