I have a Windows2000 Server guest OS and the Application Log is filling is very quickly with events from PerfDisk.
Here's a screen shot:
These events are getting written to the Applications Log every 30 seconds. The description says that disk performance counters can be enabled by using the Hardware Device Manager property pages. Well, if I run diskperf fom the command line, it says that it's enabled already.
It's not like any guest OS on this machine is doing any super i/o intensive tasks. Should I just disable PerfDisk? Anyone else run across this problem?

UPDATE:
After seeing a thread on another site regarding this issue, running diskperf -N, rebooting and then running diskperf -Y and rebooting again solved this problem.
