Ghost 11.5, > VMWare Workstation 6.5
Thx
you can use a bootable Norton Ghost disk
If you do not have one, you can try to build one with BartPE

you may want to take a look at VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 4.0
Are your Ghost image files .gho or new file format? The newer versions of ghost I think can be run directly into the converter. For Ghost images with.gho we created a Ghost Boot disk and ghosted image into VM. After ghosting into VM we ran through converted to fix any dirver issues.

Little confused here, I have a ghost boot disk - so when i start my VM and try to boot of the ghost boot disk, its telling me no os found. What am i doing wrong.. Thx
Once you create your Ghost boot disk, just connect to your Ghost server and install image just like any other computer. If you want a copy or more information on Ghost boot disk email me offline.

When i try to boot from my ghost boot disk, i get following error messaqge:
PXE-E53 no boot filename received
PXE-M0F Exiting Intel PXE rom Operating system not found
Physical machines work fine with the same boot disk and able to connect to ghost server
Thx
Did you set the VM's boot order to boot from CD?
