Actions taken after max number of pin code attempts

During the implementation of Workspace ONE UEM (Airwatch), we set up policies and profiles about different settings that we would manage. One of the settings, located in ' Devices->Profiles & Resources'  we created a profile for Androids. There we stated that the max number of pin code attempts was 5. We were unaware at the time of setting that, it would erase the device back to factory settings. Is there a way to just lock the device, like most phones do by default, for the first ' x'  amount of attempts, and then after so many lock outs, the device will be wiped? We would actually just like to enterprise wipe it, and not factory reset it.
