Redirecting Horizon resource to public URL from WS1 Access Cloud

I have created a horizon Virtual apps collection in WS1 Cloud Access. The on-prem connector is up and everything seems happy. When I try to launch a Horizon desktop from WS1 it redirects me to the private/on-prem url for the connection server, I want it to redirect to the public URL we have setup.

If anyone could provide me with how I can have WS1 redirect to the public URL for our on-prem Horizon instead of the private url which obviously doesn't resolve when not on the network.

Thanks!

Hi,
In my environment, I can configure Client Access FQDN with CPA disabled.

Click on virtal app name link. (not EDIT)

Click on [Network Range] tab and then, Click on [ALL RANGES].

There shoud be [Client Access FQDN] setting.

Hi,
You can change Client Access FQDN with following step.
1. Click on [Catalog] > [Virtual App Collection].
2. In "Virtual Apps Collections" page, Click on Virtal App name.
3. Click on [Network Range] tab.
4. Click on [ALL RANGES]
5. Under "Pod and Federation", enter your public FQDN for Horizon in "Client Access FQDN" and click on [SAVE].

Thanks, it seems like that is going to require to configure the on-prem Horizon for CPA even though it is just a single pod. I guess I kind of thought there would be a way other than needing to add CPA to Horizon.

Hmm, even after configuring CPA and the public URL, the desktop is still trying to get to the private fqdn of the connection server....
