WS ONE USAGE ON SHARED WIN COMPUTERS IN OPERATIONS CENTRE

GOOD Morning everyone.

WE are an operations company running an operations centre (OC) with monitoring of customer applications etc.

We have 9 Windows machines in the OC want to manage them with WS ONE.

The question is (2 use cases to consider):

1. Do the users login to  WIN machine in the OC using their personal AD account and their personal WS One account resulting in the registration of each WIN machine under his personal WS One account/profile? Then the user  can use his  environment that he/she has setup also on their work laptops that they use when not working in the operations centre.

2. ...or should they use a functional user for each WIN machine in the OC (and not their personal AD account) that the user has to use logging himself in with a matching WS One user, so deployments etc. are strictly bound to the used WS One user? we could limit the WIN machine that only logging in with the functional user is possible. This brings some disadvantages, which are that if they need to send an email they could use Office365 in the cloud but need to make sure, that they log out after using that account. Or they have to use also a functional email adress in order to send emails.

Another question is, whether one WS One user account should be used on several machines (like the OC WIN computers) or whether each machine should use an individual WS ONE user.
