What happens to enrolled devices once WSO License expires and isnt renewed?

If  your WSO license expires and you still have devices enrolled in the console. what happens to those devices?

Can you still unenroll them (delete them) or wipe them (if needed)?

I know you cant enroll anything new, which makes sense, but I am curious about existing devices.

What happens to any configurations / profiles / apps  that are applied on them?

Is there any grace period after expiration?

From my experience with Workspace One AirWatch, the licensing does not impose hard quantity limits on any aspect of the console.  You would just be considered underprovisioned - using licenses which you're not paying for.  Your account team would know better if you need to purchase licenses for their purposes.  Basically, as long as you have access to the console, being underprovisioned does not actually affect the operation of devices last time I checked.

That being said, if you are talking specifically about the non-AirWatch portions of WS1, that could be a different thing altogether.

I am talking about the actual console license itself, once it hits its end date and isnt renewed.
