Continuous failed login attempts from 127.0.0.1

I am running VMware Virtual Center 2.5 and my event log is filling up with failed login attempts.

How can I find out where these login attempts are coming from?

I found the problem. Another administrator on our system was installing the Desktop Manager and the configuration was incorrect.

I'm seeing the same exact thing, but the user who's credentials that keep logging in and out every 2 minutes does not have desktop manager installed. We changed his password in AD and now it still tries to login, but say "Failed login". Any suggestions? Thanks

I had the same problem and I tried checking all the VMware related services in the system,but nothing helped.

This error started occuring when I changed the password for the account. I found that uninstalling and reinstalling the Update manager plugin and SVmotion plugin fixed the problem,as they might have corrupted or lost connection with the VCenter Server.If there are any other plugin's configured then try reinstalling them.

I think these plugin's hold the previous account information.
