I had to rename our VC server, and also change the IP addressing scheme at the same time. I have run the SP_dropserver and SP_addserver procedures in SQL to update the DB instance and server names. If I use the VI Client to connect to one of our ESX boxes directly I can perform all operations, however if I connect to the VC I can see the ESX servers, but when trying to upload files to the Shared storage I am getting 'failed to log into NFC server' I am unable to upload or download files via the datastore browser when logged in to the VC, but I am able to create and delete folders so I am not too sure that it is a permissions issue. Does anyone know where there are some log files I can look at regarding this or have any suggestions?
