Questions about updating VirtualCenter 2.0.2 to 2.0.2 Update 2

1. What's about an existing database (VCDB on SQL2005). When I make the update, the install program is asking me the following question:

The DSN "VMware VirtualCenter" points to an existing VMware VirtualCenter repository. Do you want to reinitialize the database and start over with a blank configuration?

What is best practise? To start over or update the existing database? My old database is working ok for several months.

2. On my esx-hosts I use VirtualCenter Agent Daemon 2.0.2 build-50618. After updating VCenter the VirtualCenter Agents are also updated (build-62372).

Is it better to disable HA before updating VirtualCenter and after the update reenable it?

1. In most cases you will want to keep the existing data in the database.. If you start with a blank configuration you will loose any hostorical data and all customized view in VC.

2. I always disable HA before the upgrades although I think if you were not to do this it would simply disable it for you.
