Simple VC Question

My VC 2.5 is in my virtual environment. I would like to move this out to a physcial box. How can I do this?

If the VC, License Server and DB are all on the same VM, then install Converter on a workstation and run a V2P as normal. Alternatively, if the size of your environment is not that large, then you could just install a new VC on the physical box and migrate the ESX hosts to a new setup. There is no downtime involved for the hosts.

Cheers,

Anthony

Hi,

Look at this post, it might be useful.

I haven't done a VC install in a long time but I think I did something similar in regards to pointing to existing DB.

I am curious as to why you are changing again? I have never had a problem with running it in a VM.

cheers
