Unable to connect to the MKS: Failed to connect to the server 902

I am having a strange issue trying to open vm consoles with new user accounts. The existing AD accounts work but all new accounts we create are not able to open the vm consoles from vsphere client. I have tested dns and turned off the windows firewall and they still do not work. We migrated our AD to server 2008 R2 if that might have an effect on this. The permissions are correctly added on the vcenter server.

when i login to the vsphere console on the vcenter server itself the user is able to open the vm consoles which makes me think it must be some port blocked somewhere but i cannot find anything blocking vcenter from talking with AD-and it must have talked with AD as it allows the test user to login.

any idea's would be appreciated
